Job Title: 2 Store Manager for our Shop in Masterton
Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:

Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service, greeting and assisting customers with product inquiries.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Drive sales by promoting product recommendations and store offers.

Team Management:

Supervise and manage the performance of store staff, ensuring alignment with company policies and standards.
Train and develop team members in product knowledge, customer service, and store procedures.
Create staff schedules and manage labor costs, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and ensure timely reordering of merchandise.
Coordinate with suppliers for the timely delivery of products and manage stock receiving processes.
Ensure products are correctly labeled, priced, and displayed, adhering to company standards.

Sales Floor Management:

Oversee the maintenance of a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are correctly merchandised.
Manage stock rotation, minimizing shrinkage, and waste.

Financial Accountability:

Process sales transactions accurately and manage daily cash reconciliations.
Analyze sales figures and store performance metrics to set targets and take corrective actions to meet store objectives.
Prepare and submit financial reports, including sales reports and budgeting.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure store operations are compliant with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Conduct regular checks to maintain a safe and clean store environment for staff and customers.
Report and handle any safety incidents or inventory discrepancies to senior management.

Operational Excellence:

Manage store opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the efficient operation of the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle any troubleshooting.
Assist in implementing promotions and marketing campaigns to drive footfall and sales.

Leadership & Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategies to boost store profitability and achieve sales targets.
Work closely with upper management to ensure the store aligns with the overall company goals.
Keep updated with market trends and competitors to stay ahead in retail strategies.

Requirements:

Diploma or higher in store management, business administration, etc. OR

At least three years of relevant experience
