Job Description
Due to continued project wins, we are looking for a talented Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join our specialist building services team in Wellington. This role plays an integral part in delivering building projects across a range of market sectors

What will a day in this role look like?
  • Design of electrical building services including (LV) distribution, power and lighting, emergency lighting systems, communications, IT infrastructure and security systems
  • Developing, maintaining and monitoring programmes for scheduling, and reporting on deliverables across a range of projects
  • Maximising profitability of projects, monitoring against budget, reacting and anticipating potential issues, communicating in line with client expectations

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?



  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical building design
  • Degree qualified in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and clients at all levels
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) would be advantageous
