Our Operational Risk and Compliance team has an opportunity for a Senior Risk and Compliance Advisor to join Kiwibank! Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our risk management landscape. We’re on the lookout for a risk and compliance specialist who can serve as a trusted advisor to our business support functions, empowering them to navigate risks and fulfil compliance obligations with confidence.
You’ll play a key role in cultivating a robust risk management culture that inspires our teams to make informed, risk informed decisions every day. Your influence will extend across diverse areas of the bank—including Finance, Legal, Purpose and Brand, People, and Risk—allowing you to engage with senior leadership and drive meaningful process improvements. Proven experience in risk management, compliance, and/or internal audit, ideally within a large financial services organisation or a Big 4 firm.
A proactive mindset that thrives on identifying opportunities for process improvement, ensuring we continually refine and elevate our practices.
Strong commercial acumen coupled with a strategic perspective, enabling you to align our risk management efforts with broader business goals and aspirations.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing controls, enhancing processes, and developing robust monitoring and testing programs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Experience with analysing data and trends, translating insights into actionable business recommendations that guide informed decision making.
