We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team who are working on supporting the way the bank uses data. An exciting opportunity within our growing Digital & Technology Team!
This role is for a Senior Data Engineer with experience in building and delivering data solutions for an on-premise SQL Server. You'll be committed to and experienced in design, build and testing of data warehouse solutions.
You'll be exposed to many different parts of the business and work across our data landscape, supporting and maintaining the Enterprise Data Warehouse as it continues to supply data for key areas in analytics and compliance reporting.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Expert development and testing skills in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Solutions, namely Kimball and Data Vault 2.0
- Development Skills: SQL, Wherescape RED, SSIS, SSAS.
- Performance Tuning: SQL Procedures, Table indexing, and ETL Processes.
- Python/Powershell coding skills (API Data Ingestion).
- Power BI Report Server Administration and Power BI Development.
- Solid experience in delivering data solutions from requirements to production using scrum (or another agile framework).
- You must be able to do after-hours on-call support rotations.
Bonus (not essential but advantageous to have):
- Requirements gathering and solution design skills
- Experience with AWS and Snowflake.
