About the Transformation Office
We are responsible for leading the strategic management of MSD's Enterprise work programmes which includes Te Pae Tawhiti Transformation Programme (future direction) and the Integrated Work Programme (current and ongoing change initiatives).
Our two areas of focus are:
- Enterprise Planning and Tools – includes designing and implementing frameworks and best practise on how MSD will delivery change initiatives across the Enterprise, stewards of enterprise planning tools and coordination and the facilitation of quarterly prioritisation and planning activities.
- Value and Governance - includes reporting, controls management, assurance, governance coordination, benefits and value management, and investment advice to governance.

The Enterprise Planning and Tools team is here to enable MSD to consistently prioritise, plan and deliver its significant programmes of work. We are closely aligned to the Value and Governance team to ensure MSD is a well-oiled machine when it comes to how we deliver change, now and in the future.
Working with the Principal Programme Advisors, the Senior Programme Advisor will be responsible for designing and improving enterprise frameworks and processes, specifically focused on prioritisation, delivery planning and planning tools. You will also support the quarterly planning activities.

We are looking for a someone who can hit the ground running. Ideally, you'll have experience working at an enterprise level, showing you'll be able to lead pieces of work, build effective stakeholder relationships at all levels, work in a fast-paced environment, be a collaborative team player and have a pragmatic, adaptable, and forward-thinking style approach to work.
You will be someone who has highly effective organisation, planning and communication skills and be a motivated individual who can adapt easily to the needs of the programme within a time pressured environment.
The ideal candidate will have (your cover letter should address these key areas):
- Highly effective communication, relationship management, organisational and facilitation skills
- Well-developed and proven influencing and negotiation skills
- Experience working in complex delivery environments that use multi-modal project methodologies, including the Agile framework
- Experience in project/programme management
- An ability to form actionable plans to incrementally develop, test and embed change
- Experience in the use of planning tools e.g. Planview, Jira, Confluence
- Proven decision-making in the face of challenging situations

Salary range: $102,533.00 - $124,402.00
