Minimum Payrate: $29.66 per hour
Maximum Payrate: $31.61 per hour

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as a unisex Hairdresser/Hairstylist on the salon floor
- Proficient in cutting, styling, coloring, perming, and designing hair
Other Requirements:
- A Trade Certificate in Hairdressing/Hairstyling would be an advantage
- Must be ready to work in a rostered 7-day week operation
- Must be flexible in work timings due to our long trading hours
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers' instructions, hair type and by using clippers, scissors, trimmers, and razors
- Analyze patron’s hair and other physical features to determine and recommend suggest hair styles
- Dye hair using an applicator or brush, and perform coloring and highlights
- Perform full head bleach, shampoo bleach and color stripping
- Hair smoothing and straightening with the use of GHD’s
- Perform bridal hair styling, when required
- Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions
- Apply water, setting, straightening, or waving solutions to hair and use curlers, rollers, hot combs, and curling irons to press and curl the hair
- Comb, brush, and spray hair or wigs to set style and perms
- Eyebrow shaping and tinting
- Shape eyebrows and remove facial hair, using depilatory cream, tweezers, and electrolysis
- Massage and treat scalp for hygienic and remedial purposes, using hands, fingers, or vibrating equipment
- Keep workstations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs
- Develop new styles and techniques to meet the customer requirements
- Demonstrate and sell hair care products
- Opening and closing of shop and scheduling client appointments
- Operate cash registers to receive payments from clients
