What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take ownership of land development projects from concept through to completion—whether it’s hands-on design or guiding a skilled team of engineers.
• Manage land development, specifically earthworks as well as 3-waters projects ensuring compliance with New Zealand standards.
• Play a lead role in project delivery, working with councils, developers, and contractors to bring complex designs to life.
• Cultivate and expand client relationships—your ability to connect with stakeholders will be crucial in shaping both our projects and our business.
• Drive the future of our land development discipline, contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives.
• Take the opportunity to get involved in energy or water-related projects, depending on your passion.

What We’re Looking For:

• A BE Civil qualification (Washington Accord recognized).
• CPEng accreditation (or working towards it).
• Solid experience in Civil 3D or 12D, with the ability to produce innovative, practical designs.
• Expertise in land development projects, especially in earthworks design and three-waters infrastructure.
• Proven track record in managing the design, consenting, and construction stages of land development projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to navigate client needs and regulatory hurdles.
• A sharp business development focus—whether it’s nurturing existing relationships or spotting new opportunities.
• In-depth knowledge of New Zealand regulations and standards relating to civil engineering and land development.
