About the role As a Senior Cashier you will be responsible for providing a high-level service to our customers on the Gaming Floor as well as regular and ongoing assistance to the operational performance of Cashiers. You'll have a wealth of experience in a Cashiering role, able to perform a wide variety of functions and you'll be well equipped to deal with technical and process related queries from the team. You will also;
Support the training of new cashiers joining the team
Be the go-to person when team-members require support and guidance
This is a Part Time opportunity, regularly working around 15 - 20 hours per week, predominantly over nights and weekends. Friday and Saturday nights are our busiest periods so availability to work these shifts is extremely advantageous. Want to learn more? About you It'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work under pressure which will make you a great fit for Sky City. You'll be someone with exceptional attention to detail and strong accuracy. Ideally, you'll have previous supervisory experience, and you regularly display leadership qualities. Among many responsibilities, you'll be assisting the cashiers with customer disputes, so you'll have the natural ability to know how to manage and when to escalate. You'll have heaps of cash handling experience along with excellent communication skills and you'll be someone with a bubbly and vibrant personality who goes above and beyond for every customer. To be successful in this role, you will also;
Have fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicator
Be well presented with a high level of professionalism
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts
Have a good credit and criminal history - the role will require a gaming licence so these checks will be done
Be 20 years old or over due to licensing requirements
