We are the Student Experience team within the Academic Division.
Your tasks within the Student Administration team will depend on the specific portfolio that you are supporting. A full list of tasks and responsibilities can be found within the job description.
Your skills and experience/ Kā pūkeka me kā wheako

We are looking for candidates with:

Exposure to work in a busy administration environment.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
A passion for customer service and delivering exceptional service to students and staff.
An ability to work independently but also collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong Microsoft Office and PC skills.
The ability to undertake some manual handling.

Due to the nature of the role, the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and may require performing duties at different workplaces or locations across campus.

About our team/Mō te tīma

Our team of professional staff focus on the experience felt by our students here at the University of Otago. Our wider Academic Division is responsible for strategic oversight of teaching and learning policy and practice, oversight of academic staff confirmation and promotion, and other various teams which provide support to our student community.

Further details/ Pūroko

We have two full-time (37.5 hours), permanent positions available, located in Dunedin.

The days of work for the two positions vary, as per below:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. Some additional work in the evening and Saturdays over exam periods will be required.
Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. Some additional work in the evening and Saturdays over exam periods will be required.

The appointment range for this role is $65,281 to $69,648. Top of the range is $74,947 per annum.
