Job Description
These three permanent part-time roles are working across the Homewares group predominantly focusing on Pottery Barn, Home & Living and Bed & Bath.
Our Pottery Barn department alongside West Elm is exclusive to Ballantynes in New Zealand. These along with Home & Living cover a wide range of home decor, soft furnishings and furniture. Bed & Bath stocks beautiful ranges from Kip & Co, Wallace Cotton, George Street Linen, MM Linen and many more. These departments neighboring with French Country Collections are located on the first floor.
Within Homewares we sell everything for the home from cookware, small appliances to sofas and beds and stationery. We also stock brands that are exclusive to us so have an exciting array of products to work with.
These are busy areas and as one of our salespeople, you will enjoy interacting with our customers, having the confidence to provide that one-on-one service to advise on the latest trends or show off your product knowledge. Being passionate, motivated and committed to achieving high standards at all times.
You will be adaptable, you will use your initiative to keep on top of tasks, ensuring your area is kept well-presented and stocked.
Attending product training sessions to expand your knowledge is key for success.
Having a good teamwork ethic along with the flexibility to work across all of these areas is essential to assist the wider team when required. You will be working with an established team and embrace the positive culture that be Ballantynes offers.
Successful Candidate
The ideal applicant will have the following attributes:

Previous retail experience
Knowledgeable and Passionate about home and furniture products is desirable.
Helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to assist our customers.
Passionate about working with quality merchandise.
An enthusiastic, engaging and warm nature
Great teamwork skills

Additional Information
These permanent part time roles are as below, please state which role/s you are applying for in your application.
1. Bed & Bath - Sunday and Monday 14.75hrs
2. Pottery Barn - Friday and Saturday 13.5hrs
3. Home & Living - Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 30hrs
