Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Counter Manager to lead our team on the luxurious Lancôme Cosmetic Counter where timeless fragrances, skincare and make up will transport you to a world of sheer opulence and beauty!
Your passion for style and beauty, along with your commitment to the highest standards of service will ensure all your clients feel fantastic while running a demanding cosmetics counter.
You will have a passion for prestigious cosmetic products, while also demonstrating high levels of energy and enthusiasm, coupled with the motivation and commitment to achieve targets. You will be a self-starter with a high standard of personal presentation and a desire to provide outstanding customer service.
You will be working alongside one other team member who you will enjoy mentoring and training. You will embrace the positive culture that Ballantynes offers and create a harmonious workspace for all to grow and learn from.
You will be adaptable, you will use your initiative to keep on top of tasks, ensuring your area is kept well-presented and stocked.
Attending product training sessions to expand your knowledge is key for success.
Having a good teamwork ethic along with the flexibility to work across the cosmetics department is essential to assist the wider team when required.
Successful candidate
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Cosmetic retail experience
Previous leadership experience
Reliable, confident and passionate about beauty
Excellent communication skills
Enjoys leading a team and supporting their development
A professional who takes pride in their standard of work and customer care

Additional Information
This position is 38.5 hours per week working Tuesday to Saturday.
To be the successful applicant for this position, previous cosmetics retail experience with proven sales skills is essential, at Counter Manager level.
