Working within our Patient Safety, Quality Improvement & Risk Directorate (PQI&RD); we are seeking an experienced Risk Advisor to support the PQI&RD team in supporting services and wider teams across the organisation identify and mitigate risk, utilising the national risk framework. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include:
Supporting teams to clearly document risks, risk assessments / analysis & mitigation and ongoing monitoring.
Developing risk reports and presentations to key stakeholders including governance groups
Support the training of staff in risk management and how to incorporate this into decision making
Key requirements:
3+ years' experience in risk management or related disciplines. This may be replaced with suitable experience in healthcare.
Experience with complex problem solving
Facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
Experience in report writing
Experience with risk information systems, or similar information technology skills
Whilst not essential, experience in managing or working in the health sector would be desirable.
