Research Financial Administrator

Service: Wellington Blood and Cancer Clinical Trials Unit
Contract: 1 year fixed-term, part-time (16 hours a week)
Salary: $21,000-$24,0000
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in financial administration and passionate about healthcare. We are seeking a Financial Administrator to support our Clinical Trials team on a part-time basis. This is a flexible role working 16 hours per week, with working hours between 08:00 and 16:30, Monday to Friday.
In this position, you'll play a vital role in managing clinical trial budgets and invoice processes, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
You - ll be working in a multi-disciplinary environment, working with professionals across a wide range of services in the medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory areas, including Trial Sponsors and their representatives. You - ll receive training to manage the clinical trial finances, and there - s scope for learning new skills and gaining qualifications.
Moū - About you
If you are a curious, tenacious self-starter with a keen eye for detail then we want to hear from you. Essential skills and experience we are looking for include:
  • Previous experience in a Financial Administrative role.
  • Proficient in account management and financial spreadsheets.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point, and web-based communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with technology.
Knowledge of the healthcare or clinical trials environment is a plus.
