About the role
Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, here is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Mental & Addiction Services at the Whangarei Hospital in the Inpatient and Sub-Acute Units.
These roles permanent and full working 40 hours a week, though part time applications may be considered.
The primary function of this role is to utilise professional knowledge and skill to provide a holistic approach to nursing care that is safe, of the highest quality possible and in accordance with the designated standards of practice.
You will provide nursing care in consultation and partnership with the patient/client/family/whanau, where the rights and needs of all people are acknowledged within the context of the Treaty of Waitangi.
About you
Registered Comprehensive Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
Experience in a Mental Health setting
Current Practicing Certificate
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Current Driver's License
Excellent communication skills
