We’re looking for a talented engineering professional to help us keep the good energy flowing. If you're working in preferably process or potentially mechanical engineering then read on. In this interesting and varied role you'll work as part of the Gas Facilities Engineering Team which takes technical responsibility for gas transmission stations assets, transmission compression and sub-terranean storage facilities. The team also takes technical responsibility for the renewable energy equipment, both biomethane and hydrogen. Your role within our collaborative team will be to provide technical expertise both in the office and out in the field. You can expect to look after a variety of process equipment as you support the wider engineering team and operators in the field. We're keen to hear from engineers who have practical hands-on, and trouble shooting experience. Qualifications He aha tāu e kawe mai (What you will bring)
Along with your engineering degree and 5+ years practical process or mechanical engineering experience you will have:
Ability to innovate and drive improvement to deliver best practice in gas facilities.
Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to define, review and approve technical documentation.
Self-management skills with a focus on work prioritisation and planning
Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
