Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Contract and Commercial Specialist to help us keep the good energy flowing. In this newly created role, you will work to provide contract and commercial guidance and oversight of sourcing strategies, contract structures, rate negotiations, monitoring and reporting as well as supporting effective contract management to deliver value to the business.
Working as part of our Project Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing and finalising contract documentation in alignment with company policies and legal requirements. You'll also manage the tender process, develop contracting strategies to support project lifecycle and under audits of project contract documentation.
In the interesting and varied role you will utilise your strong relationship skills to facilitate positive vendor relationships through clear and transparent dealings and regular communication.
This role is 32-40 hours per week, based at our office in Bell Block (with flexible working options available).

Qualifications

Along with your relevant qualification in engineering, commercial or related discipline and 5+ years professional contract management experience of multi-disciplined projects you will have:

Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Excellent understanding and management of financial processes and contract law.
Broad and deep experience built on contract management concepts and principles.
Strong Microsoft Project and Excel skills.
