About the role We are looking for an Operations Lead at our Te Ngaengae Pool + Fitness Suite to manage pool operations to make sure our customers enjoy a clean, enjoyable and safe environment. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you'll provide operational and administrative support, leading a large group of lifeguards working casual, fixed term and permanent shifts. You'll also be preparing rosters and overseeing staff wages. The key focuses of the person coming into this role is effective staff management, facility management, service delivery and performance reporting.
About You We need a strong people leader who brings experience in aquatics and a current Pool Lifeguard Competency, First Aid and Swimming Pool Water Treatment Certificate. You'll have a passion for water safety and appreciate the need to ensure staff are trained and fully supported to undertake their roles. You'll also have a natural ability to build positive relationships with your colleagues and encourage collaboration across the wider aquatics team to ensure all our customers have a great experience at our facility.
