About The Role Operations engineers have an important part to play in the supply of our products. We apply analytical thinking and continuous improvement methods to achieve optimal manufacturing processes and outcomes whilst actively managing risk throughout the operation.
This role offers an opportunity to join the Operations Engineering Team where your engineering expertise, project management and stakeholder engagement skills will have the chance to shine. You will be working in a high volume and fast paced production environment, with responsibilities including complex problem solving, root cause analysis & troubleshooting, project management, continuous improvement activities and technical documentation.
This is a hands-on, results focussed role where you will be challenged to solve problems and build cross-functional relationships as you endeavour to implement the right solutions for our manufactured products and processes. You will need to be adaptable and able to get things done in challenging and uncertain circumstances.
About You The skills and experience you can bring include:
A Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent)
Ideally 1-2 years' engineering experience in manufacturing
Excellent communication skills and solid problem-solving skills
Some project management experience
Good understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles
Experience in 3-D modelling packages (Solidworks)
An understanding of Plastics materials, Injection moulding processes and tooling
An understanding of measurement systems & statistical analysis
