The Health New Zealand Taranaki Laboratory has a Scientist vacancy at Taranaki Base Hospital where we provide a 24 hour a day - 7 days a week Pathology service.
Applications are invited to fill a Casual Medical Laboratory Scientist position. You will become part of an existing team, and may be involved in covering our shift roster. The role may encompass any of the disciplines of POCT, Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Transfusion Science or Specimen Services.

Moū - About you
We welcome applications from people with the following attributes:
- Hold a relevant qualification in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences Council.
- Medical laboratory technical and scientific skills within multiple disciplines.
- Phlebotomy experience (not essential).
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
