About us | Wakapā mai
Our Morrinsville site manufactures a range of products such as milk powders, whole milk concentrates and a range of butters. These products are exported to more than 35 markets around the world. During peak milking season, our Morrinsville site processes up to 1.2 million litres of milk every day.
About the opportunity | Te whai waahi
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager at our Morrinsville site where you will have the opportunity to take the department to the next level and continue the journey of maintenance improvements. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll provide hands on leadership, mentoring and coaching to our highly skilled Maintenance Team to enable the achievement of our engineering strategy and world class standards in health and safety, food safety and quality, asset management and continuous improvement.
You’ll lead the Maintenance team’s strategic direction and delivery while having accountability for world class standards in our Fonterra strategy.
Core responsibilities include:
- Building a high performing team environment and fostering a culture of high engagement and collaboration with a continuous improvement focus.
- Optimising site repairs, maintenance budget and major service contracts.
- Building long term partnerships that create value with our customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Developing financial and capital management performance driven by long term strategic business and capital plans
About you | Moe koe
You will be a natural people leader with strong coaching abilities. We want to hear from you if you have:
- A trade certificate or tertiary degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical or other relevant field.
- People leadership experience with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Proven understanding of maintenance management processes and an engineering project management background.
- A strategic mindset with effective communication and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to implement and drive continuous improvement.
