Ngā Kete Wānanga o Ōtautahi Christchurch City Libraries is a network of 20 physical and one digital library providing access to creativity, ideas, and information, with collections at its core. As part of Content's Selection and Access Team, the Library Content Assistant supports the delivery of library content in a timely manner to library customers.

Hours: 20 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday (specific hours to be discussed with the successful applicant)
Position: Permanent, part-time
Location: Primarily based at 180 Smith Street, Linwood
Salary: $27.80 per hour (living wage)
Interview: Due to staff availability, it is expected interviews for this position will be held on Thursday 10th October

About the role | Ko te mahi nei
As a Library Content you will take responsibility for:
- Receiving stock
- Processing invoices
- Updating databases
- Processing items
- Assisting with the distribution of stock throughout the network
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A high level of computer proficiency, particularly in a Windows based environment
- A focus on achieving results consistently
- Attention to detail and a problem solver
- A well-developed level of initiative with a willingness to take responsibility and follow through
- Physical stamina
- A commitment to being an exemplary Te Tiriti partner and working in a bicultural way
- A minimum qualification of NCEA Level 3, or equivalent
