Te āheinga: The opportunity
The School of Applied Business at Unitec seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer in commercial and business Law to join our team. This is a fulltime, permanent position starting in January 2025 that involves teaching business law to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

He kōrero mōu: About you
Ideally, you have practised as a lawyer or have substantial experience in the legal field, particularly within the New Zealand legal system. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of New Zealand's legal framework and expertise in all facets of commercial and business law. Your experience with legal principles and their practical application in the business world will enable you to equip students with the essential skills and critical thinking required to tackle real-world legal challenges effectively.
Teaching experience is desirable but not essential. However, you must be able to communicate effectively with students from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Ideally, you are a positive and energetic person open to learning about the systems and processes here at Unitec.
