Job Description
In the role of Laboratory Training and Health and Safety Coordinator you will manage all the lab staff onboarding, training, health and Safety and rostering. You will ensure the lab maintains industry and Zespri best practice through regular auditing and uphold the lab’s ISO 17025 accreditation.
You will ensure a high level of training, maintaining training records and lead the lab’s competency and proficiency programme.

Qualifications
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has:
- A good understanding of all laboratory documentation, processes and ISO accreditation standards including lab testing systems
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Strong people and communication skills;
- Experience in training
- Influencing, motivating and action orientation skills;
- Solid computer skills at an intermediate level in Word and Excel;
- Exceptional time management; attention to detail and problem solving skills
