About the Role
We have an awesome opportunity for a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our Animal Health Lab Team. This is a great way to get your foot in the door of NZ's leading agri-tech co-op.
Key responsibilities in the role include:

Preparation and testing of Bovine tissue, milk, blood and semen samples for PCR and ELISA testing in the Animal Health Laboratory
Reporting on results
Implementation and maintenance of ISO 17025 quality standards for all laboratory practices
Using your knowledge and experience to mentor and support colleagues

About You
Our ideal candidate will have a few years' experience in a commercial laboratory under their belt, but most importantly, will have a positive mindset and willingness to learn. You'll also demonstrate:

A can-do attitude and positive approach
An eagerness to learn and have the ability to pick up new info quickly.
Be agile, flexible and collaborative.
Experience in PCR and ELISA testing would be advantageous.
Having an understanding of the farming environment is also desirable.
