Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Overtime: Available (paid at the base rate)
Salary Range: Starting from $25/hour, with the potential to earn up to $35/hour for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair various mobile devices, including software programming, hardware fixes, and advanced micro soldering.
Conduct advanced diagram reading and micro soldering for PCs, computers, laptops, mobiles, land phones, tablets, and other ICT & telecommunications devices
Troubleshoot, repair, and service telecommunications devices such as mobile phones, landlines, and tablets.
Perform computer and laptop repairs (both Windows and mac OS), including software installations and hardware upgrades.
Handle Mac and Mac Book repairs with specialized troubleshooting for Apple products.
Configure and install CCTV systems, including camera setup, human motion detectors, mobile access, and other security solutions.
Perform networking setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for both home and business environments.
Implement device security measures, including antivirus installation and firewall configuration.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues to non-technical users in a simple and clear manner.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and customer services through support ticketing systems and CRM software.
Qualifications: Education:
Diploma in Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications ,Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Or
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICT & Telecommunications role or a related field is required.
Skills Required:
Strong technical knowledge of mobile phone repairs, computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way to non-technical users.
Proficiency in using support ticketing systems and CRM software.

Additional Requirements:
Full New Zealand driver's license.
New Zealand residency, valid New Zealand work permit, or offshore applicants with intent to apply. (Note: Offshore applicants will not be prioritized at this stage.)
Working Conditions:
Work in a tech repair shop environment located in Katikati or Tauranga.
Occasional travel to customer sites within the Bay of Plenty region.
Potential overtime, paid at the base rate.
