We’re looking for enthusiastic front-of-house team members who can bring their flair for hospitality to create engaging wine tasting & food experiences for our guests at The Shed in Central Otago. We open five days per week (Wed – Sun), so the successful applicant will need to be available to work weekends and public holidays from November 2024 through to end of April 2025. You will be great at:
Showing your passion for excellent customer service
Delivering memorable food and wine experiences
Converting the guest’s positive experience into wine sales and brand loyalty
Encouraging visitor loyalty and sign up to the wine club
Supporting private experience and VIP events
Requirements Ideally, you will have:
Experience in hospitality, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting
A sales orientated mindset - able to convert positive experiences into sales of Cloudy Bay wines, food and merchandise
A genuine passion for wine and food
Strong sales acumen
English is essential, an additional language is a plus
