Napier City Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Napier Aquatic Network team as a Fitness Team Member on a casual basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the exceptional fitness experience we offer to our members.
As a Fitness Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our gym members have a positive and safe experience while using our facilities. Your main duties will include:

Job Description - Fitness Team Member - Napier Aquatic Network
As a Fitness Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our gym members have a positive and safe experience while using our facilities. Your main duties will include:
- Providing excellent customer service to gym members
- Maintaining a clean and safe gym environment
- Assisting with gym promotions and events
- An interest and some experience in the fitness industry
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Fitness qualifications - minimum qualification required is Level 4 Personal training certificate.
