Emergency Medicine Specialist - Whangārei Hospital, New Zealand
We are looking for a Emergency Physician. If you are a FACEM or an international ED Physician looking to balance a new opportunity in a dynamic environment, this may well be the place for you!

Would you like to improve outcomes in the North, which serves a high Maori, high needs populations, all whist living in an area that is rich in culture and heritage and boast some of the most scenic and exciting coastal areas of New Zealand?
Whangārei Hospital is the major referral hospital for the Northland region of New Zealand, with a direct catchment of 170,000. The ED department provides emergency services for the entire district across Whangārei Hospital as well as our three regional hospitals in Kaitaia, Dargaville and the Bay of Islands.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has 43,000 attendances per year of which 25% are paediatric. The department is currently led by 21 SMOs and is accredited with ACEM for 12 months Advanced Training and Paediatric Logbook Training and has a successful training programme for both Part 1 and Part 2 trainees.
