The Higgins Maintenance JV Team working on the Ara Tūhono Pūhoi to Warkworth project (P2W) have an exciting opportunity for an EHQS Advisor to join the team. This is a part-time role based at our project office in Warkworth.
This is a sole charge role on project with the support of a wider EHSQ team at Higgins. You will be in involved in all aspects of EHSQ including investigations, auditing, reporting and supporting/coaching the JV team.

What you will bring to the role:
- Experience across health and safety, quality and environmental within the construction industry is highly sought after
- Excellent knowledge of the NZ legislative environment including HSE, ACC and HSNO and industry guidelines and standards
- Thorough knowledge of work related illnesses and injuries, and rehabilitation processes
- Ability to conduct comprehensive accident/incident investigations, recommend correct and preventative actions
- A High level communication skills with a coaching, influencing emphasis
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety systems
- Excellent organisational skills, you will be confident in managing multiple work streams and have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
