We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Depot Manager to lead and support the safe and reliable operation of services from the Te Awamutu, Otorohanga and surrounding area depots. Your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive reports to the MOE, ensuring full legislative compliance, conducting thorough investigations of accidents and incidents, all whilst maintaining optimal service levels. You will also play a pivotal role in cost control, overseeing weekly KPI reports, implementing change management strategies for the business and employment relationship issues along with essential administrative duties. Your expertise in fleet management will be crucial in keeping our school fleet fully operational, and you will have the opportunity to grow our charter business by developing relationships with schools and external organisations. Experience/qualifications sought for the position are:
Level 3 NCEA or equivalent (evidence of Business/Operations related higher education is desirable)
Class 2 licence, or willing to obtain this
P Endorsement, or ability to obtain one
Experience in managing a large team
At least 3 years’ experience in a large passenger service industry or similar
Experience in managing customer and stakeholder relationships with significant organisations
