About the role

This is a unique opportunity to advance your career as you become involved in all aspects of our premium Corporate Commercial practice.

Working alongside Anne Mc Leod and Sarah Simmers, you will be exposed to a wide variety of interesting and complex work, including capital raising, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, structuring and corporate advisory.

We take pride in delivering high quality work while being responsive, flexible and pragmatic in our approach, to find the best solutions for our clients.

You can be confident you will be given opportunities to grow and develop in your practice with the support and guidance to be successful. You will build close relationships and work with, the firm's wider Corporate Commercial Teams.

This role is ideally based in our Ōtepoti Dunedin office and we are open to discussing relocation support for the right candidate.

What you will bring

Given the growing workload, we are recruiting for Corporate Commercial Lawyers from Solicitor to Senior Associate level. If you have at least a minimum of 2+ years' practical experience in Corporate Commercial Law, excellent technical skills, a strong academic transcript and the ability to engage confidently with clients, then please apply now!

You will also have exceptional levels of self-awareness and interpersonal skills and have a proven ability to build strong, influential relationships based on trust. You will be highly responsive, organised and able to manage a wide variety of tasks.
