About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer & Family, Lived Experience Leader to join the Mental Health & Addictions Services team. The role will support the effective, efficient and culturally safe delivery of lived experience practice to tāngata whaiora in Te Tai Tokerau.
This is a permanent, part time position working 28 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
About You
Working with a passionate, multi-disciplinary team who place great value on putting people first, you will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and computer skills. You will also have:
Relevant experience with mental health and additions sector
Experience working in a lived experience role
Training or qualification relevant to the lived experience workforce
Leadership experience with an understanding of engaging with communities and Whanau by working collaboratively
Current Drivers Licence
Project management, group facilitation; whānau and community work experience desirable (but not essential).
