Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($116,040 p.a) and Step 7 ($127,674 p.a pro-rata) of the DSN scale

- Salary band - $116,000 - $127,000 p.a pro-rata and Kiwi Saver
- 0.875 FTE / 35 hours per week
- Permanent vacancy
Mō te tūranga - About the role
- Provide specialist emergency nursing care and expertise both in direct care delivery
- Mentor staff so they too gain further knowledge and skill
- Collaborate across the organisation
- Acting in the roles of clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and care coordinator/case manager
- Current NZ nursing council registration
- Proven practice and advanced knowledge in emergency nursing
- Either hold or be working towards post graduate qualification at a minimum of a diploma or/and a master's degree
- Advanced communication techniques such as conflict resolution, diffusion and mediation skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
