Thursday: 3:00-9:00pm
Sunday: 2:00pm - 9:00pm
As a team leader on our checkouts, you will ensure that that customers are happy, being served in a timely manner and that your team is helping you to achieve all this. You will be front and centre making sure that our front of house checkout operations are flowing smoothly, by:
- Assisting checkout operators and customers through transactions
- Authorising alcohol/tobacco purchases
- Customer service – scanning and packing groceries
- Cleaning of checkout areas
- Working alongside the duty manager to resolve issues.
What you’ll bring:
- We have lots of customers so the ability to work under pressure is paramount.
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team, but also be able to complete tasks unassisted in the required timeframe.
- Ability to show initiative and be honest and reliable.
- A positive approach to their day and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- You must also be physically fit as it involves being on your feet.
- LCQ/Duty Managers Certificate is a bonus, but not required.
