Cafe/Restaurant Duty Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Duty Manger to be part of our amazing team in our cosy, homely cafe and bar that serves great food, coffee, wine and beer with an open outdoor seating area. We host lunch/evening meals, private & corporate functions which can extend to after hours as well and after work drinks. We have a great selection of cabinet food for people on the go. We also cater for in house functions, outside functions, corporate functions, parties, and other events.
Please note we are a small tourism town where workload is heavier during the summer season (November-March) where we have a much larger team, and lighter during the winter, from May till August where often you are sole charge so responsible for all duties including cleaning to open and close the business. You will be required to live here both seasons; it is likely that we can secure shared accommodation for you. For this reason, the position would suit single persons or couples (but not so much families) who enjoy the outdoor activities.
