Butchery Assistant/Apprentice-NW Glenview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Butchery Assistant to come on board and work their way up in the butchery world. We love seeing people succeed and this is a great learning opportunity for the right person.
For the role, you will need to be willing to learn, getting stuck in wherever needed but for starters you will end up :

Assisting in traying up meat as required.
Ensuring the meat case is well stocked and merchandised correctly.
Assisting in all cleaning
Serving customers and helping with enquiries and orders.
Confidence with Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards and able to uphold these on a daily basis within the current Food Control Plan.

About you You will be a passionate person who wants to learn all things about the Butchery!
We are looking for someone who is reliable and hardworking and wants to take that next step in their career and start their journey towards a Butchery Apprenticeship. No previous experience required, but any time in butchery or similar is a massive asset.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:

Reliable and Hardworking
Willing to learn all the ropes of a butchery.
Fit some Heavy Lifting Require

This is a full-time position, 5 days per week and weekend work will be necessary.
