Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($116,040 p.a) and Step 3 ($127,674 p.a pro-rata) of the Designated Senior Nurse scale Grade 2.

Mō te tūranga - About the role
Our multi-disciplinary team provides care across the whole life spectrum including the following:
- Paediatric and obstetric patients
- Those requiring cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, and complex medical OR trauma care, including renal replacement
- A retrieval service utilising helicopter and fixed wing flights
- Strategic leadership
- Staff education
- Development and recruitment
- Along with financial management
- Production planning
- Report writing
- Quality and risk management
Mōu ake - About you
- Current NZ APC and relevant post graduate qualifications
- A Senior Registered Nurse with significant Critical Care experience
- You will bring a clear focused vision; strive for contemporary practice, and be 'firm, but fair' with the ability to inspire staff, being their advocate when needed
- Proven success in nursing leadership will be complemented by your knowledge of, and experience in, clinical quality, safety, and best practice
