64 hours per fortnight (0.80 FTE) Monday to Friday
An opportunity has become available for someone looking to take their admin experience into a healthcare setting.
In this role you will join a hard working team who works consistently to deliver a top quality service to it’s internal customers. The DHB’s records are mostly paper based however there is an also electronic documentation. This mix means we needs someone exceptional who is just as confident working with paper records as they are working with electronic.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a busy role who can bring the following skills:
Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related functions plus be generally computer savvy to learn the other software packages used.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - internally and externally.
Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your own workload, as well as work as part of the team.
Outstanding customer service skills
Data entry experience
General knowledge of filing systems and record keeping
Able to lift weights of up to 17kg (health record cartons)
You will be required to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail. As we deal with records throughout the hospital, you’ll need to be willing and able to deliver these throughout the hospital grounds.
