We are seeking a very experienced policy professional to advise on key areas of social policy. This skilled practitioner will work at the centre of executive government and be involved in government decision making at the highest levels.

The ideal candidate will have strong public policy skills and the analytical agility to work across a wide range of social policy issues. Your experience and maturity will mean you work comfortably in a highly autonomous environment with discretion and sound judgement. You will have a track record in building high trust relationships and in working with others to solve problems constructively.
We would like to hear from suitably qualified people who would be interested in taking up the challenge of contributing to the work of the Policy Advisory Group. You must be able to analyse complex situations and policies, work under pressure and generate effective solutions for consideration by the Prime Minister, ministers and government officials.

The indicative appointing range for this role is $218,721 - $244,453 p/a inclusive of Kiwi Saver contributions.
