About the Ministry for Regulation The Ministry for Regulation is a newly established small Government agency with a big job to do. We're charged with improving the rules and regulations imposed by Government to make them more streamlined and easier for New Zealanders to navigate. About the Role Sitting in the Ministry's engagement team, this role provides the ‘glue' that will support the function to really hum. Your generalist engagement and communications skills will be well utilised in this role – where you'll get the chance to do a bit of almost everything. The engagement team is full of professionals, keen to help support you to grow and advance your career. About you Our successful candidate will have some experience working within the engagement and communications function. We need someone who is curious, savvy, keen to learn, and will roll up their sleeves up. You'll provide a wide range of professional support to the engagement team and across broader Ministry, with a keen focus on helping inform, engage and connect with our audiences. Ideally, you'll have a tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline, may have worked in the public sector before, and can demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
