Overview:
Integrated Marketing team at Foot Locker EMEA is key in defining and orchestrating the best expression of our marketing communications to our target consumer – the sneaker passionate. This team merges Foot Locker brand strategy and planning with our vendor brand strategies and priorities, supported by a GTM team that ensures a close connection with our Buying team, and how we show up in our 630+ physical retail stores. Your role will focus on driving and supporting Foot Locker EMEA’s brand expression and key omni-channel campaign moments across the year, reporting directly to the VP Marketing, EMEA. You will work very closely with the vendor marketing and GTM teams and collaborate with Creative, Brand Engagement & Activation (Social Media, PR, Partnerships), and Media teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and leading integrated marketing plans across multiple channels, love of articulating a story across media, and an intuition around what makes consumer tick.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a core driver of our overall brand strategy on campaigns and our brand positioning
- Run the integrated marketing planning from brief to well-articulated GTM plans, helping to guide excellence in how we show up and invest across all channels
- Craft briefs for our internal creative team and key agency partners
- Partner with creative agencies and creative functional leads to ensure best expression of our brand across all consumer touchpoints
- Collect and synthesize all channel needs for a campaign to orchestrate on-strategy, most impactful, and cost-effective plans
- Oversee our asset management approach to ensure we have effective and organized ways to commission, create, and manage content for all marketing channels
- Own the customer journey to uncover key barriers, motivation, and opportunities where we can improve our marketing and overall customer experience
- Leverage key metrics to inform strategy and creative direction
- Manage the marketing and creative budget, develop mechanisms for reporting performance back to the business, tied to KPIs
- Partner with digital (app/website) and paid media teams to connect strategy across acquisition and performance efforts
- Work cross-functionally with all marketing functions, Ecom, and Buying to develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Partner with the global and North America brand marketing teams on global opportunities and moments when Foot Locker needs to show up with one brand voice, while ensuring local relevance for the EMEA markets
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in brand and integrated marketing, preferrable at or with a large multi-national corporation within the lifestyle or sports industry. Prior experience in marketing with a retailer is an advantage, but not a must
- Experience working in the European market and across various countries, with particular focus on the UK, France, and Italy is a bonus
- A demonstrated track record of successfully building a brand, working cross-functionally across business units to execute and achieve results
- Leadership experience, setting a visions, motivating and guiding direct reports
- Strong digital prowess with an understanding of marketing metrics and full funnel marketing integration
- A natural knack for knowing what consumers want and a love for stitching a story together across brand touch points
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence throughout an organization
- The ability to impact the short-term while simultaneously developing long-term vision and goals
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and simplify to provide actionable recommendations
- Experience managing a budget and working across channels to set and report KPIs
- Experience deploying multi-media campaigns and orchestrating teams for content deliverables
- University degree, preferably related to Business Administration, Marketing, Media
