We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining service standards, and fostering a positive work environment. The Restaurant Supervisor will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operation and contribute to the success of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
• Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new employees.
• Schedule shifts and manage employee time off requests.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure excellent customer service by monitoring staff performance and addressing any issues.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all patrons.
• Operational Oversight:
• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure adequate supplies.
• Assist with ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships.
• Financial Management:
• Assist in managing cash handling procedures, including reconciling daily sales and deposits.
• Monitor and control operational costs, including labor and inventory.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning as needed.
• Quality Control:
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Ensure that service standards are consistently met.
• Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, bar, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and other supervisors to ensure smooth operation.
• Foster a positive team environment and promote open communication.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Skills:
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both in speaking, writing and reading.

Working Conditions:
