Join our family at Amanjena as a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will be accountable for soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Conducts day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
Creating and implementing strategic prospecting plan and sales action plan for review
Proactively sell Amanjena across all segments and markets
Introduce new clients, whilst maintaining existing relationships to drive targeted business to the hotel
Qualify incoming inquiries from key accounts and following up on leads for strong conversion rates
Develop and strengthen our DMC relationships to ensure increased market share
Organise and accompany familiarisation trips, press trips and hotel site inspections
Participation in yearly budget and commercial plan
Actively initiate, orchestrate, and participate in projects and meetings as required to achieve sales goals.
Respond to Corporate office’s projects and requested reports in due course
Methodically solicit potential clients for future business on an on-going basis
Liaise with Regional Sales Offices worldwide to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
Attend hotel and industry related functions and tradeshows whenever required
Represent and cross-sell Aman properties whenever required
Qualifications:
Experience in sales management within the luxury hospitality industry
A track record of success; ideally 3 years of meeting/exceeding sales goals is mandatory
Current business and market experience
Extremely strong written, interpersonal and presentation skills
High proficiency in written and spoken English and French
Strong computer knowledge, with fluency and/or aptitude, to fully use Opera PMS and Microsoft Office
Previous experience managing and/or coordinating the sales process preferably for a luxury property
Capability to use Excel to generate and interpret data reports on business volume from sales territory and individual sales progress reports
Familiarity with local DMCs will be an advantage
