As an Outstanding Planner Buyer in our Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of our supply chain operations. Planner Buyer
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer needs.
- Work closely with Procurement team to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of products.
- Expedites raw material in case of getting close to a low inventory level or when the transit incoming material could cause a line down or when there is a production schedule increase.
- Coordinates with the industrial engineer any engineering change in order to replace as fast as possible the raw material if needed, minimize obsolescence and make sure a continuous material flow on the production lines.
- Review aged orders and maintain system updated.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, purchasing activities, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and purchasing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering
- 3 / 5 years' experience in in purchasing/planning function.
- Experience in manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Kan-Ban, MPS/MRP, Microsoft software’s and Oracle.
- 70-80% English.
- Experience in Staff Managing.
- Experience with Warehousing, Inventories & Supply Chain Flow.
- Fluent in English.
- Excel proficiency.
