JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Report directly to the Security Manager on day-to-day security operation and administration for the company.
2. Protect personnel, property, premises and proprietary information against fire, accident, theft, damage, trespassing and vandalism.
3. To coordinate and liaise closely with site’s security operation on all security operation matters.
4. Coordinate with Security Officer/ Supervisor on the deployment and optimization of manpower utilization.
5. To ensure the CCTV system at all sites is in good order.
6. To always ensure proper and structured access control for any incoming and outgoing visitors, contractors and trucks.
7. To investigate and report in a timely manner.
8. Coordinate response to all emergencies, record all unusual incidences in logbook and promptly notify the superior.
9. Ensure company policy as well as security regulations or standard operating procedures are being adhered to.
10. Organize and arrange training for staff on relevant security subjects.
11. To assist in security audit and inspection and to present recommendations.
12. Report all building hazards and malfunctions to the superior.
13. Participating in cost-saving exercises and ensuring expenses is of the most economic means.
14. Assist Security Manager on manpower planning and deployment.
15. Establish and maintain close liaison and cooperation with the local authorities, especially the Police, Bomba and other related local agencies.
16. To perform other duties & responsibilities which the Security Manager may assign from time to time.
17. To attend all training and presentations on health and safety matters as well as accident prevention.
18. To comply strictly with EHS related policies, procedures and customer requirements as well as safety rules that are rolled out from time to time.
19. Able to relocated/ travel whenever required
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably Degree/Diploma holder

• Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position in Logistic business.

• Well exposed in security and asset protection.

• Knowledge of crime trends, fire safety and emergency response is essential.

• Strong leadership and command skills.

• Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.

• In the absence of any of the above requirements subject to the management’s approval.

• TAPA/ CTPAT knowledge will be advantaged
