Purpose-Driven Company:
You’ll help us continue to make positive changes in the local communities where we work and live as well as in the broader world through volunteerism, giving back and sustainable business practices.
- Service and build relationship with existing customer accounts – work jointly with counter-parts globally to provide technical support to local customers, coordinate customer enquires/complaints, align customers requirements with the factory, conduct price negotiations for increased allocation/ market share during period bidding exercise.
- Collect market intelligence and competitor information to facilitate effective sales planning, forecast and budgets.
- Prepare sales reports and any other reports relating to sales as required.
- Monitor actual sales performance against target and be accountable to take pro-active actions to meet established sales targets.
- Build required technical and sales capabilities/competencies required to perform sales job.
- Provide coaching and training to new sales personnel joining the organization.
- Lead and coordinate price negotiation efforts with customers, recommend suitable pricing strategies and actions balancing the company’s need for profitability and winning target allocations or RFQ at customer location.
New Business development:
- Take on a structured approach to develop and manage new businesses effort - identify potential targets and ensuring the NBD funnel is full
- Seek out new business opportunities - partner with customers (existing or new) to identify fastening system solutions for product applications, align customer requirements with the factory for manufacturing, manage new business projects till mass production
- Actively involved in customer’s new programs at customers - to coordinate it with the help of application members.
- Work with segment leaders from other countries to leverage on specific new customer, new segment.
- Build relationship with principals represented (if any) and look for new business opportunities via trading
