Procurement Executive

Job Descriptions
  • Responsible for procurement and sourcing of suppliers/contractors and negotiating for the right cost to maximize the company’s margin.
  • Gather data on potential sellers and maintain Approved Supplier List.
  • Works with multiple vendors – evaluate and determine the best deals for the company based on various factors including price, quality, speed of delivery and other related factors.
  • Prepare purchase requisition and purchase order, good received note and monitor on vendor delivery schedules for incoming goods.
  • Ensure suppliers and services meet the Company’s requirements in terms of product specification, quality and reliability standards.
  • Evaluate and measure supplier’s performances.
  • Resolve any issues with suppliers and plant administration/ purchaser related to logistics, product specification and quality.
  • Manage contract, agreement and liaise with Legal for contract/agreement compliance.
  • Work with sales and finance to support payment process.
  • Monitor compliance with procurement targets and the procurements budget.
  • Master, maintain and monitor Qn E systems in timely manner.
  • Seek approval for each purchase order issuance by following Matrix Approval.
  • Contribute to the continual internal process improvement and able to work independently.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Diploma / Advance Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Min 1-2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing; Fresh graduate is welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing methods, and supplier management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with procurement software (Qn E system is a plus)
  • Mandarin speaker and knowledge of ISO standard preferably
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Great time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet conflicting deadlines.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.00am-5.00pm)
Location: Kawasan Industri Gebeng, 26100 Kuantan, Pahang
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
