OPERATION & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ADMIN INTERN
Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations & Product Development Admin Intern to join our team at 16PERCENT Skincare. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in both the operational aspects and product development processes of a dynamic skincare brand. You will support the team in day-to-day administrative tasks and contribute to product planning, sourcing, and development. This internship is ideal for those passionate about skincare, beauty, and the business side of product innovation.
Responsibilities:
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM800.00 per month

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operational tasks such as inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination.
- Support inventory tracking, stock replenishment, and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Help manage product order documentation, vendor communication, and purchasing records.
- Assist in answering customer inquiries and coordinating with the customer service team for order fulfillment and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the product development team to assist in market research and competitive analysis.
- Contribute to the formulation of new product ideas by helping research industry trends and customer feedback.
- Assist in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and other components for new skincare product development.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain samples, track orders, and ensure product quality meets the brand's standards.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to operations, product performance, and production timelines.
- Help document and streamline standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve both operational efficiency and product development processes.
- Assist with administrative tasks during the product development lifecycle, including testing, trials, and quality checks.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Product Development, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Passion for skincare, beauty products, and the product development lifecycle.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for learning about skincare ingredients and market trends in product innovation.
- Hands-on experience in operations, logistics, and product development.
- Exposure to the end-to-end skincare product development process.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the skincare industry.
