Mechanical Supervisor
Responsibilities
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
Application Question(s):
- Supply of new air compressors and air dryers.
- Engineering and design of new foundations, electrical cabling, overhead crane, and installation of roller shutter door to air compressor room.
- Upgrade of MCC breaker for air compressor and air dryers including cable laying.
- Engineering and modification of existing pipe routing and isolation points.
- Installation of centralized PLC system control of air compressor and air dryers.
- Rental of air compressor and dryer during EPIC for KTNCS operation.
- To install and install pre lube system for preliminary engine lubrication.
- To supply and install Alltronic III ignition system to latest system complete with detailed feedback, diagnostic capabilities, and auto timing adjustment and connected to PLC.
- To supply and install generator panel and PLC panel with capability of modbus communication inclusive of wiring for data trending monitoring purposes and alarm record, with minimum specification as per below:
- New panel
- Bradley PLC Compact Logix 5370 L3 Controller
- Allen Bradley PSU 120/240VAC Power Supply
- Allen Bradley 8 channel analog input
- Allen Bradley 32 Point 24 VDC Input Module
- Allen Bradley 8 point DC Relay Output Module
- Allen Bradley 8 Port Unmanaged Switch
- Prosoft Ethernet/IP to Modbus TCP/IP Gateway
- Prosoft Ethernet /IP to Modbus Serial
- WAGO AC/DC Power Supply 240VAC/24VDC
- Allen Bradley Panel View Plus 12 inch or bigger.
- All necessary but not limited to switches, cabling, lighting indicator, buttons for operation.
- All data from Gas Engine Generator need to be communicated to PLC for high speed data trending monitoring purposes and alarm record. The system needs to be designed with redundancy to avoid system failure and connected to uninterrupted power supply. The modbus data need to be transmitted by TCP IP cable to Control Room.
- Diploma or professional / vocational certificates in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical supervision, including the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Proven experience with air compressors, air dryers, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
