Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging online classes for small groups (5–7 students) that connect learning with real-world applications.
- Design and implement tailored learning plans based on each student’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and the Pasxcel team to ensure holistic growth and academic progress.
- Create new educational content, from lesson videos to progress updates, to support continuous improvement.
- Ownership & Accountability: Educators who embrace responsibility, take initiative, and approach challenges proactively.
- Empathy & Understanding: Ability to connect with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Growth Mindset & Resilience: Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability, seeing challenges as opportunities to grow.
- Collaboration & Communication: A strong team player who values open, honest communication and is comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
- Inclusivity & Support: Dedication to creating an inclusive classroom where all students feel respected and supported.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (physical or online secondary school).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field.
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken) and experience with the IGCSE syllabus.
- Comfortable teaching both IGCSE subjects: Business Studies & Economics.
- Adaptable to the fast-paced nature of a startup and eager to take on new challenges.
- Bonus: Experience with IGCSE exam format and a passion for teaching life skills, critical thinking, and other non-academic subjects.
